• Take charge and implement: Lead sales cycles within a designated territory of Fortune 500 retailers, marketplaces, and travel companies, managing the entire enterprise sales process from initial conversation to final agreement and growth.
• Manage intricate deals: Oversee eight-figure sales cycles involving C-suite stakeholders, technical evaluation teams, procurement, legal, and security departments.
• Coordinate resources: Organize both internal and external resources throughout each transaction—working alongside executives, deployed engineers, product teams, legal, and customer support to ensure successful evaluations, pilots, and deployments.
• Construct the business case: Develop thorough, procurement-ready business cases and ROI models that demonstrate revenue and profit increases, collaborating with internal advocates to achieve consensus within their organizations.
• Engage with technical buyers: Effectively sell to both business and technical stakeholders, including CTOs, Chief Product Officers, heads of search and personalization, and engineering or machine learning teams.
• Foster land-and-expand strategies: Acquire new accounts and systematically develop them into global, multi-surface partnerships—placing emphasis on expansion as a fundamental aspect of the sales strategy.
• Influence the go-to-market playbook: Contribute significantly to how Sequen acquires and scales customers, assisting in the definition of our sales playbooks, deal strategies, and overarching go-to-market initiatives.
• Cultivate deep account expertise: Develop a thorough understanding of each customer's business model—including their P&L, digital platforms, and key performance indicators—to pinpoint optimization opportunities and create compelling proposals.
• Proven success: Bring over 8 years of enterprise software sales experience, demonstrating a consistent ability to exceed quotas on seven- and eight-figure transactions.
• Technical proficiency: Possess extensive experience selling complex technical products—such as cloud infrastructure, machine learning/AI, or data platforms—and engage confidently in detailed architectural discussions with technical executives.
• Enterprise engagement: Successfully secure and grow Fortune 500 accounts, expertly managing lengthy cycles involving multiple business stakeholders, procurement, legal, and security teams.
• Coordination specialist: Function as a natural leader who can align executives, engineers, and product specialists around a deal to take ownership of the outcome throughout the process.
• Financial insight: Understand how enterprise customers generate revenue, identifying specific challenges within their financial structures to build CFO-level business propositions.
• Advocate cultivator: Know how to identify, nurture, and equip internal champions with the data, materials, and narratives necessary to effectively advocate on your behalf.
• Structured approach: Conduct a highly organized, methodology-driven sales process (e.g., MEDDPICC or similar) with rigorous qualification, milestone tracking, and forecasting.
• Innovative builder: Enjoy shaping playbooks rather than merely executing them; comfortable creating marketing materials, business cases, and processes where there are none.
• Total accountability: Assume full responsibility for your pipeline, navigating uncertainty with agility and proactively addressing challenges to achieve results.
• Startup mindset: Flourish in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, preferably with experience in selling at early-stage or hypergrowth companies.
• Educational qualifications: Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• High-impact growth: A highly visible position with direct influence on how a category-defining AI infrastructure company acquires and expands its most crucial customers.
• Leading-edge technology: The chance to sell enterprise AI platforms supported by proven, highly quantifiable customer revenue outcomes.
• Autonomy and ownership: Complete strategic planning authority over how you approach, position, and expand your assigned target accounts.
• Founding team collaboration: Direct partnership and teamwork with the founding team.
• Unrestricted rewards: Competitive base salary, uncapped commissions, and a significant equity stake as an early employee.
