• Create prospecting and account strategies to foster relationships and generate opportunities.
• Conduct research on accounts, pinpoint key stakeholders, spark interest, and gather business requirements.
• Collaborate across teams with SDRs and Solutions Engineers (SEs) to demonstrate Procore’s leading role as the premier construction software solution to potential clients.
• Keep precise and current forecasts; supply sales management with reports on sales activities and projects as needed.
• Work in partnership with Account Managers to relay customer goals, challenges, and all pertinent customer insights to ensure a seamless transition to post-enrollment processes.
• Seek to enhance knowledge of primary competitors to effectively communicate our value proposition to clients.
• Oversee and accurately maintain Potential accounts, opportunities, and account information within Salesforce.com.
• Meet or surpass quarterly and annual objectives.
• Secure repeat business, referrals, and testimonials by leveraging an understanding of your customers' specific needs.
• Engage in networking, relationship cultivation, cold calling, follow-up through emails, product demonstrations, and execution of service agreements.
• Over 8 years of proven successful software sales experience, ideally in a B2B context.
• Familiarity with a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in both inside and outside sales environments.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively through telephone and email with clients.
• Capability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced sales setting.
• Skill in developing trustworthy relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and online collaboration tools.
• Experience with CRM and opportunity management platforms, especially Salesforce.com.
• Proven track record in building and managing sales pipelines and forecasts.
