This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver Outcomes: Meet or surpass quarterly and annual revenue goals by focusing on high-value prospects and key accounts within a designated territory.
• Manage the Sales Cycle: Oversee intricate, multi-layered enterprise sales processes, from identifying needs and analyzing requirements to negotiating contracts and closing deals.
• Build a Sales Pipeline: Incorporate prospecting into your regular activities.
• Account Lifecycle Advocate: Serve as an advocate for enterprise accounts, consistently monitoring initial sale successes, addressing emerging client needs, and fostering strong, long-term customer satisfaction.
• Strategic Planning and Growth: Design and implement territory plans encompassing market assumptions, forecasting, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Product Expert: Act as the regional subject matter expert for Miovision Opticom products and services. Promote the transition from hardware-based to cloud-based EVP systems.
• Trusted Consultant: Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to city departments to identify their needs and effectively communicate the value of Miovision's solutions.
• Strategic Opportunity Coordination: Lead the preparation and development of RFP and RFI responses to position Miovision as the preferred vendor for contemporary traffic solutions.
• Ensure Data Accuracy: Utilize Salesforce diligently to provide leadership with precise forecasts and clear visibility into your sales pipeline.
• Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Keep up with market challenges and the competitive landscape to effectively position Miovision’s value proposition and provide critical insights back to the business.
• Collaborate with Ecosystem Partners: Work in partnership with Business Development, Marketing teams, and external influencers to launch regional campaigns. Engage with and motivate distribution partner sellers to enhance effectiveness.
• Provide Mentorship: Regularly offer advice to revenue leadership on complex commercial issues and actively contribute to improving the overall skill set and execution of the broader sales team.
• Brand Representative: Represent Miovision in person with clients and at major trade shows. Travel 40-60% of the time.
• Specialized Sales Expertise: Demonstrated experience selling technology to the 1st Responder Market (specifically to Fire, EMS, and police). You are familiar with consultative selling methodologies, account-based strategies, and navigating lengthy B2B/B2G cycles and public procurement processes (RFPs).
• Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with the Transportation/Traffic or Public Safety sectors.
• Strategic Insight: Proactively develop territory plans and maintain a robust, multi-stage pipeline of opportunities (proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM is essential).
• Hybrid Technology Proficiency: Comfortable navigating both software systems and hardware-integrated traffic solutions, with the ability to effectively convey the value of both.
• "Hunter" Attitude: You excel at generating new business and have a solid history of succeeding in complex sales environments.
• Negotiation and Influence Skills: Proficient in navigating intricate pricing structures, non-standard deal specifics, and commercial contract negotiations, with the capacity to influence and engage a diverse range of personas from Fire Chief to Signal Technician.
• Self-Motivated: Highly self-driven and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.
• Mastery of Executive Communication: Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation capabilities with a proven ability to command a room and articulate abstract value propositions to senior public and private stakeholders.
• Networking Skills: Skilled in creating external visibility and fostering internal collaboration.
• Willingness to Travel: Prepared to engage in fieldwork, meet customers, and represent the company at major trade shows (40-60% travel or approximately 3 days per week). Must be able to travel internationally and move freely between the USA and Canada.
