This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Develop and implement sales strategies aimed at enterprise clients.
β’ Manage the complete sales process from identifying prospects to contract negotiations.
β’ Collaborate with internal teams to provide a smooth sales experience.
β’ Identify and address customer pain points by aligning appropriate solutions.
β’ Cultivate and maintain relationships with C-level executives.
β’ Monitor and oversee sales activities and outcomes.
β’ Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings.
β’ Contribute to initiatives that drive business growth.
β’ Represent Kong at industry events.
β’ A minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise sales (companies with over 1,000 employees).
β’ Demonstrated success in closing complex deals within a SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software context.
β’ Strong consultative selling abilities.
β’ Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
β’ A results-oriented approach.
β’ Familiarity with CRM platforms (such as Salesforce).
β’ Understanding of open-source software, APIs, or infrastructure software.
β’ Capability to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
β’ Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
