This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of a greenfield territory comprised of enterprise accounts with over 4,000 employees, focusing on acquiring new logos from prospecting to closing.
• Build and oversee a self-sourced pipeline; most of your opportunities will stem from your outbound efforts, creativity, and relationship-building.
• Navigate intricate, multi-threaded sales cycles lasting over 9 months, engaging with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders across Revenue, Operations, and Technology.
• Create customized account plans that pinpoint key buying stakeholders, decision-making processes, current investments, and potential areas for expansion.
• Establish Gong as a strategic platform — not merely a product — by consulting on revenue strategies and assisting customers in comprehending the organizational value of Revenue Intelligence.
• Acquire and expand new accounts, developing a growing book of business through a disciplined land-and-expand approach.
• Collaborate with SDR, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success teams to devise account-based strategies and ensure a seamless customer journey.
• Engage with senior executives about the evolving landscape of Revenue Intelligence, positioning Gong as the leader in this domain.
• This role is fully remote within the US, but will require occasional travel to customer sites (up to 20%).
• Minimum of 8 years of closing experience, including at least 5 years selling to large enterprise organizations (4,000+ employees) in a greenfield territory.
• Demonstrated success in exceeding $1M+ net new ARR, consistently closing six-figure deals ($250K+) in multi-stakeholder, multi-threaded sales cycles lasting over 9 months.
• Proven ability to build a pipeline from scratch, generating most opportunities through intentional outbound efforts and self-sourced activities.
• Experience competing in challenging markets — you have successfully gone head-to-head with established alternatives and achieved superior results.
• Familiarity with land-and-expand selling strategies — you recognize that the initial close marks the beginning, not the end of the process.
• Proven expertise with MEDDPICC or a similarly effective value-based selling methodology.
• Strong business acumen, with the capacity to think strategically at a high level while delving deep into accounts to consult and align with global strategies.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts and presenting them in an engaging and approachable manner.
• Consistent tenure in roles — you develop deep expertise within a selling motion before moving on.
• Experience with Gong.io is preferred but not mandatory.
