This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• You will be part of our US Sales team, reporting directly to the Regional Vice President of Sales.
• Your objective is to enhance GitGuardian's footprint within enterprise accounts in your designated territory.
• You will oversee the complete sales cycle: from prospecting and pipeline generation to facilitating proofs of concept (POC), negotiations, and closing deals; all while fostering relationships that provide long-term value for both your clients and GitGuardian.
• Identify, engage, and develop connections with enterprise prospects through proactive outreach, channel partnerships, and events.
• Take ownership of full sales cycles, coordinating with multiple stakeholders across extensive buying teams: including CISOs, CTOs, and leads from Security, Engineering, and DevOps.
• Plan and execute intricate POCs and proofs of value (POVs) in collaboration with your Sales Engineer.
• Create proposals and navigate multi-stakeholder negotiations in conjunction with both internal and external procurement teams.
• Maintain disciplined pipeline management and provide accurate sales forecasting.
• Advocate for GitGuardian's expanding product suite, highlighting our NHI Governance and secrets detection functionalities.
• Proven track record as an Enterprise Account Executive in a DevOps and/or AppSec context.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise software or security sales, with a history of managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Experience selling to Security, Engineering, or IT leadership (strong emphasis on Application Security, DevSecOps, Cloud Security, Identity/IAM/NHI, or developer tools).
• Demonstrated ability to independently generate pipeline and meet sales quotas.
• Comfort in managing multi-threaded enterprise deals with intricate procurement processes.
• Excellent communication skills: You present clearly and credibly to executive audiences.
• Willingness to travel (up to 25%).
• Familiarity with MEDDIC or MEDDPICC sales methodologies.
