• Take ownership and oversee a targeted portfolio of strategic accounts throughout North Asia and Singapore, focusing on both acquiring new business and expanding existing relationships.
• Create and implement multi-year account strategies that span various business units, geographic areas, and use cases, covering enterprise sectors such as Financial Services, technology, e-commerce, and government-linked companies.
• Identify, define, and secure large, intricate deals (involving multiple products, regions, and custom solutions), addressing in-country data residency needs and private deployment setups.
• Foster deep, multi-layered relationships with executives, product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, effectively navigating both headquarters and regional decision-making frameworks.
• Serve as a strategic consultant, providing insights on emerging AI voice trends and helping shape customers' long-term AI strategies in markets that are rapidly adapting to regulatory and procurement changes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Forward Deployed Engineering to deliver and expand solutions, working closely with the team based in Singapore.
• Convert insights from custom deals into repeatable frameworks, offerings, and product insights that are pertinent to the APAC market.
• Contribute field insights—including localization requirements, compliance factors, and competitive dynamics—into the product roadmap and broader strategic sales playbook.
• Implement innovative outbound and high-touch engagement strategies, such as executive briefings, onsite visits, regional events, and relationship-focused approaches tailored to the enterprise culture in North Asia and Singapore.
• 6–10+ years of experience in quota-carrying roles, concentrating on strategic or enterprise accounts within North Asia and Singapore.
• Demonstrated success in closing and expanding seven-figure deals within named accounts, with a strong preference for experience in large North Asian enterprises.
• Proven experience in leading intricate, multi-threaded sales cycles across substantial regional organizations that have complex approval processes.
• Strong capability in driving land-and-expand initiatives and fostering long-term account growth, including managing renewal and expansion cycles in relationship-centric markets.
• Background in scoping consultative, custom deals that exceed standard product offerings, including private deployment, on-premise, or VPC-based architectures for regulated clients.
• Technical fluency to engage with product and engineering leaders on subjects like APIs, integrations, architecture, and data security requirements.
• Executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and shape long-term AI strategies in both English and Mandarin contexts.
• Proven ability to convert customer requirements into product feedback and influence roadmaps, particularly in markets with specific localization needs.
• A creative, self-motivated approach to outbound and pipeline generation, comfortable functioning in a high-growth, ambiguous environment and developing playbooks from the ground up.
• Willingness to travel frequently for customer engagements across the region, including onsite visits, QBRs, and executive meetings.
• Strong inclination towards action, ownership, and integrating AI into everyday workflows.
• Required fluency in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken); proficiency in additional regional languages is a significant advantage.
• Experience selling in Mandarin-speaking territories and/or Southeast Asian markets is highly preferred.
