This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Process enrollment forms and spreadsheets for both new and existing groups, including COBRA.
• Handle change of address forms.
• Review and manage enrollment modifications, such as adding or removing dependents and adjusting effective or termination dates.
• Investigate and rectify ID cards that are returned due to missing addresses.
• Address issues related to vision error reports.
• Assist with electronic group error reports when necessary.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of enrollments for other Eligibility Representatives.
• Maintain communication with all internal departments and employer groups.
• Aid in the training of new Enrollment employees.
• Complete special projects as assigned by management and perform tasks necessary to ensure the eligibility department operates efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Review and update automated reporting as assigned.
• Collaborate with groups, TPAs, and internal departments for changes to EDI files, providing testing and approval for production.
• Address discrepancies for large or complex groups.
• Process EDI files as assigned.
• Serve as a liaison for groups and brokers concerning enrollment-related inquiries.
• Respond to emails submitted to the Enrollment inbox as needed for backup.
• Process enrollment forms and spreadsheets for new and existing electronic groups as required.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
• Support the eligibility call center.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of administrative experience is required; knowledge of dental insurance is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and 10-key.
• Ability to solve problems swiftly and automate processes.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to work under minimal supervision.
• 2-4 years in a related role is preferred.
• 2-4 years of dental insurance knowledge is required.
