English/Russian Contract Interpreter, OPI & VRI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Provide telephone and video remote interpretation services in both English and Russian.

• Facilitate communication for individuals needing language support.

• Offer dependable, impartial, empathetic, courteous, precise, and professional interpretation.

• During onboarding, complete English proficiency testing, a mock interpretation session, and a medical terminology assessment.

• Undergo a background check and security screening.

• Sign an Independent Contractor Agreement along with a confidentiality commitment that includes HIPAA compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fluency in both English and Russian.

• Commitment to providing courteous, accurate, and professional interpretation services.

• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

• English proficiency rating of technical proficiency, level 3 or above on the ILR scale.

• Successful completion of a live mock interpretation assessment.

• Achieve a passing score on an online medical terminology assessment that covers medical terms, anatomy, and physiology.

• Clear background check and security screening.

• Sign an Independent Contractor Agreement along with a confidentiality commitment that includes HIPAA compliance.

• Submission of a resume.

• Possession of certifications that demonstrate skills or relevant experience.
