This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Teach: Provide individual and group English language training sessions for employees.
• Design: Create tailored lesson plans and learning materials to meet the specific needs of the team.
• Coach: Assist employees in enhancing their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and accent clarity, while incorporating relevant technology and CRO terminology.
• Facilitate: Conduct workshops on English grammar and communication skills, including presentations and public speaking.
• Assess & Evaluate: Monitor learner progress, offer assessments and evaluations as necessary, adjust teaching methods, and share weekly progress updates.
• Plan, Schedule & Collaborate: Develop weekly lesson plans, manage the scheduling and rescheduling of lessons as required, ensure consistent delivery of sessions, and work with HR and department heads to address training requirements.
• Demonstrate Independence & Reliability: Assume responsibility for your duties, work independently, and consistently exhibit professionalism in teaching, planning, reporting, and interactions with employees.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related discipline.
• Experience: At least 2–3 years as an ESL instructor, ideally with experience teaching students in Eastern Europe or Asia. Experience in employee development projects or an HR background is advantageous.
• Fluency: Exceptional command of written and spoken English (CEFR C2-level or equivalent).
• Professionalism: Self-sufficient, responsible, and consistently displays professionalism.
• People Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
• Creativity & Adaptability: Capable of designing engaging learning materials, providing constructive feedback, and customizing teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Attention to Detail & Curiosity: A sharp eye for detail and eagerness to expand knowledge beyond English teaching, including navigating the CRO/tech landscape.
• Growth Mindset: A strong commitment to personal development and lifelong learning.
• Bonus Skills: Experience in teaching presentations/public speaking and familiarity with basic web development terminology (e.g., HTML).

• Competitive salary: 800-1000 USD (Gross). This position is offered under an independent contractor agreement.
