English Language Learner Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish strong daily connections that motivate, acknowledge, and elevate students, transforming potential drop-offs into significant breakthroughs through compassionate and proactive outreach.

• Provide daily, targeted English Language Development (ELD) instruction tailored to each student's proficiency level, ensuring that every lesson is purposeful, challenging, and directly linked to measurable language improvement.

• Examine student data across reading, writing, listening, and speaking areas to pinpoint gaps, modify instruction in real-time, and intervene proactively to prevent students from falling behind.

• Monitor student engagement and progress with keen awareness; identify struggling or disengaged students promptly and implement timely, personalized interventions that reignite their momentum.

• Provide prompt grading and impactful, meaningful feedback that reinforces learning, celebrates achievements, builds self-efficacy, and empowers students to tackle challenges with confidence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in EL (mandatory).

• Valid teaching license with Multilingual Learner (CLD/EL or equivalent) endorsement (mandatory).

• Capability to obtain certifications in Arizona, Colorado, Washington, and other assigned states (mandatory).

• Minimum of 2 years experience teaching English Learners in a K-12 setting, either online or in-person (mandatory).

• At least 2 years of online teaching experience (preferred).

• Ability to successfully pass required background checks (mandatory).
