English into Mongolian Patent Translator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mongolia.

📋 Description

• Execute translations, conduct linguistic quality assessments (LQA), and ensure quality control of translated materials from English (en-US) to Mongolian (mn-MN)

• Detect and rectify linguistic inaccuracies, maintaining consistency in terminology, style, and compliance with client-specific guidelines

• Deliver constructive feedback to translators and compile thorough quality reports

• Ensure compliance with client-specific style guides, glossaries, and project specifications

• Leverage CAT tools to efficiently review and evaluate translations

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, translation, biology, chemistry, or related disciplines

• Over 2 years of professional experience in translation, linguistic quality assessment, copywriting, or copy-editing, particularly in patents or technical documentation

• Profound knowledge of biological and chemical terminology and the capability to modify complex scientific language for target audiences

• Outstanding proficiency in English (en-US) and Mongolian (mn-MN)

• Demonstrated experience in reviewing or translating patents or technical documents

• Skilled in utilizing CAT tools for project management and quality evaluation

• Available to start immediately
