English into Khmer Patent Translator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cambodia.

📋 Description

• Execute translation tasks, conduct linguistic quality assessments (LQA), and perform quality control on translated materials from English (en-US) to Khmer (Cambodia) (km-KH).

• Detect and rectify linguistic mistakes, ensuring uniformity in terminology, style, and compliance with client-specific standards.

• Offer detailed feedback to translators and compile thorough quality reports.

• Guarantee adherence to client-specific style guides, glossaries, and project specifications.

• Employ CAT tools to efficiently review and evaluate translations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in linguistics, translation, biology, chemistry, or related disciplines.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in translation, linguistic quality assessment, copywriting, or copy-editing, particularly in **patents or technical content**.

• Profound knowledge of biological and chemical terminology and the ability to simplify complex scientific language for target audiences.

• Outstanding proficiency in both English (en-US) and Mongolian (mn-MN).

• Demonstrated experience in reviewing or translating patents or technical documents.

• Skilled in using CAT tools for project management and quality assessment.
