This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.

📋 Description

• Teach small groups of students focusing on their fundamental English skills

• Monitor and assess students’ advancement through Vanguard’s curriculum

• Organize and refresh student lesson schedules

• Lead the creation of lesson plans and curriculum development

• Assist middle and high school students in navigating the college application process

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a humanities discipline from accredited US institutions (English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Publishing, etc.) (Master’s degree or higher is preferred)

• Previous teaching experience in English and/or a background in a college-level Writing Center (minimum of 1 year)

• Proven academic achievement (for example, a GPA of 3.5 or higher)

• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong command of the English language

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Google Workspace

• Reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace with minimal noise and distractions

• Willingness to work during operational hours: Closed on Mondays and Fridays; open Tuesdays to Thursdays from 1:30 pm CST to 9:30 pm CST; Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 am CST to 5:30 pm CST
