English Instructor, FT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.

📋 Description

• Teach small groups of students essential English skills.

• Monitor and assess student progress through Vanguard’s distinctive multi-phase curriculum.

• Organize and update lesson schedules for students.

• Lead the creation and innovative implementation of lesson plans.

• Assist middle and high school students in navigating the college application process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a humanities discipline from accredited US institutions (such as English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Publishing, etc.).

• At least one year of teaching experience in English or experience in a college-level Writing Center.

• Proven academic excellence with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong command of the English language.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Google Suite.

• Reliable internet access and a quiet workspace with minimal distractions.

• Willingness to work during designated Hours of Operations.
