Engineering Sales Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Responsible for identifying the needs of channels and providing technical support for product offerings.

• Support the sales team in the necessary pre-sales functions, contributing to proposals, negotiations, and business closures.

• Identify current and future customer service needs by establishing strong personal relationships with potential and existing clients, as well as others capable of understanding service requirements.

• Provide technical and engineering information regarding products, services, and/or equipment of the various solutions managed; addressing questions and technical requests from colleagues, channels, or clients.

• Conduct presentations at events, supplying technical information, addressing customer concerns, performing sizing, proof of concepts, and offering technical support.

• Contribute to client training and development by providing technical information, conducting training sessions, technical workshops, webinars, and other resources to advance technically in the assigned channel programs.

• Train technical and sales personnel through workshops/talks on solutions from our manufacturers.

• Determine improvements by analyzing the cost-benefit relationship of equipment, supplies, or service applications in the client environment.

• Contribute to the sales team regarding new technologies, solutions, and trends.

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and obtaining the required technical certifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Networks, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields.

• Two years of experience in similar positions, particularly in IT solution design. (Mandatory)

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Mandatory)

• Intermediate level of English (Not mandatory)

• Additional knowledge in Security: Architecture standards and best practices, Physical servers and Storage, Datacenter security, Information security, Backup. (As per required specialization).
