• Take charge of the developer engagement initiative: facilitating how developers discover the platform, obtain solutions, transition from initial prototypes to production, and evolve into long-term users and advocates.
• Oversee the developer-oriented aspects of the platform: including documentation, onboarding processes, sample applications, communications, and the visibility tools that ensure developers stay informed and unblocked.
• Conduct developer engagement activities (office hours, asynchronous support, collaborative sessions) and translate insights into product specifications, optimal paths, and reusable frameworks that assist all teams utilizing the platform.
• Establish and monitor key metrics for the developer experience that are critical: time-to-first-success, activation, adoption, satisfaction, and retention.
• Utilize productive coding tools as an integral part of your workflow, including prototypes, specifications, scripts, dashboards, and developer resources.
• Collaborate with related platform service teams (identity, unified management, artificial intelligence, and others) to alleviate friction between services.
• Report on progress, risks, and decisions to senior leadership and the developer community through written communication and live demonstrations.
• Over 5 years of combined experience in software product management and software engineering.
• A minimum of 2 years in a product management or technical product management position.
• Experience in shipping production code as a software engineer in a previous role.
• Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language (Python, TypeScript, Go, Java, or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
