📋 Description

• Lead the team: Manage one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, career development, and recruitment.

• Drive execution: Take charge of sprint planning and ensure successful roadmap implementation.

• Stay technically grounded: Maintain sufficient expertise in the signals stack to assess design proposals.

• Coordinate across teams: Represent Smart Signals in technical dialogues throughout the Engineering department.

• Shape signal strategy: Collaborate with Engineering Leadership and Product teams on prioritizing the roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Engineering management experience: A minimum of 4 years managing a team of 8 to 10 engineers.

• Technical depth in backend systems: Proven experience in building or maintaining scalable production backend services.

• Delivery track record: Specific examples demonstrating results and metrics from quarters where your team consistently delivered.

• Cross-functional collaboration: Hands-on experience working with Product Managers and research or data partners.
