Engineering Manager, Service Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the team responsible for the essential deployment and release engineering systems at Instacart.

• Collaborate closely with product, infrastructure, and service teams to establish and enhance a platform that facilitates rapid iteration while ensuring reliability.

• Direct the team in creating user-friendly, scalable, and robust systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on delving into the specifics of designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.

• More than 7 years of experience in software development across one or more programming languages.

• Proven history of launching and delivering high-impact products; extra credit for experience with internal, developer-facing products.

• Strong capability in upholding high standards for production services.
