Engineering Manager, Relationship Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate across teams with Product Management and Design to establish the roadmap for the Relationship Intelligence engine and its features.

• Lead, mentor, coach, and inspire a team responsible for applications that are vital to the success of our customers and the business.

• Ensure the delivery of an enjoyable, dependable platform and user experience for our global users through rapid development and iteration cycles.

• Facilitate Agile processes such as daily standups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.

• Advocate for AI tools and best practices, remaining up-to-date with the fast-evolving landscape to enhance team efficiency and output, while fostering a learning environment for continuous skill development.

• Actively contribute by building meaningful features alongside your team.

• Steer discussions around complex technical, architectural, design, and product matters.

• Identify and address team gaps, establishing the necessary processes for team success.

• Expand the team by recruiting additional skilled engineers to achieve the team’s objectives.


⛳️ Requirements

• You possess 8+ years of experience in a full-stack software engineering position, developing scalable web applications that handle large data volumes and rich visualizations.

• You have a minimum of 3 years in an engineering management or technical leadership role, providing mentorship and coaching in a structured setting.

• You have a proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams.

• You are experienced in working with complex SaaS platforms.

• You demonstrate excellent communication skills.

• You take pride in delivering a high-quality product regarding both functionality for consumers and the overall performance and reliability of the platform.

• You are dedicated to helping engineers at all levels develop new skills and advance their careers.

• You are enthusiastic about collaborating within engineering and across various functional teams.

• You’re keen to share your ideas and experiences to assist Affinity in its continuous improvement as a product and as a company.
