• We are seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee our Platform (Core Services) team, responsible for the essential services and libraries utilized by our product engineering teams across the Rula ecosystem.
• You will guide a team of skilled platform engineers in developing and sustaining highly adaptable, dependable, and scalable services and tools to enhance the quality and speed of our product development.
• Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will outline the team charter, define ownership parameters, and champion the mission of delivering shared libraries and services.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in building and maintaining backend platform infrastructure or shared services that cater to multiple product engineering teams.
• At least 3 years of experience managing a high-performing engineering team, focusing on personnel development, performance management, and creating high-trust environments.
• A demonstrated history of mentoring senior engineers in technical areas such as distributed systems, microservices architecture, or cloud-native infrastructure.
• Strong familiarity with AWS (particularly IAM, VPC, and EKS) to guarantee the scalability and security of core libraries.
• Proven experience in maintaining shared tools and services with an emphasis on reliability, including setting SLOs and managing high-availability systems.
