This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of mobile engineers, promoting growth, engagement, and high performance.
• Take charge of delivering mobile solutions from the planning phase through development, release, and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance in mobile architecture, engineering standards, and best practices for development.
• Organize and coordinate work, ensuring clear priorities, effective execution, and reliable delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Data teams, and other Engineering Managers to align on roadmaps and objectives.
• Ensure that mobile solutions adhere to quality, security, and platform-specific standards.
• Identify potential delivery and technical risks early and manage them proactively.
• Assist with hiring processes, onboarding, performance evaluations, and goal-setting within the team.
• Foster collaboration, innovation, and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Over 6 years of experience in software development, particularly with mobile technologies.
• More than 2 years of experience in an engineering leadership or management role.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering mobile applications at scale (Android and/or iOS).
• In-depth knowledge of mobile architectures, clean coding practices, and testing methodologies.
• Practical experience with: Android: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines; iOS: Swift, SwiftUI, Combine/RxSwift, or cross-platform frameworks (React Native / Flutter).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and contemporary DevOps practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional, international teams.
• Proficient in English (B2+/fluent).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Nice to have: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Understanding of mobile release processes and app store compliance. Exposure to budget management or vendor collaboration. Scrum Master or Product Owner certification. Familiarity with observability tools, crash reporting, and optimization of mobile performance.
