Engineering Manager – Lifecycle Customer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Co-manage a squad in collaboration with a Product Manager within a cross-functional setting

• Foster clarity, consistency, and momentum within your squad

• Engage with stakeholders to deliver essential insights and context to your team

• Balance immediate delivery with long-term sustainability

• Establish team objectives and drive prioritization

• Take charge of technical decisions and ensure alignment with the organization's strategy

• Oversee metrics evaluations and organization-wide on-call responsibilities

• Detect risks and obstacles early, collaborating with stakeholders to mitigate them

• Onboard, train, and mentor team members, while also participating in performance evaluations and promotion discussions

• Assess team performance and relay progress against KPIs and milestones

• Ensure team expenditures align with budgetary constraints

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience managing a team of engineers in a professional setting

• Practical knowledge of gRPC, GraphQL, Postgres, and Kafka

• Hands-on expertise with React, TypeScript, and React Native

• Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub Actions and ArgoCD

• Strong grasp of engineering practices and the capability to drive operational excellence

• Experience in identifying security practices and SLOs
