Engineering Manager II – APM DCS Platform Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Oversee, mentor, and advance the careers of engineers across three distinct teams.

• Establish the vision and roadmap for enhancing developer productivity; spearhead our performance engineering initiatives and manage the release experience.

• Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and internal CI teams throughout Datadog to comprehend their software development processes and consistently improve the efficiency of our workflows.

• Expand and enhance fault-tolerant, tier-0 CI and CD systems to accommodate growth in new and increasingly complex environments.

• A robust project-delivery leader with a proven history of roadmap planning and successful shipping in conjunction with partner teams.

• Proficient in system design, capable of establishing and elevating the technical standards for reliable, high-scale systems, while addressing complexity and ensuring the team delivers maximum value for the investment.

• You excel at partnering with various stakeholders, internal customers, platform providers, and sister teams.

• Bonus: experience with internal tooling or developer-productivity teams, continuous integration/delivery systems, benchmarking, or AWS.
