This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Build and lead the Engineering Enablement team: a compact, impactful team whose contributions are experienced by every engineer within the organization.
• Design, develop, and manage the AI pairing pipeline that empowers each engineer at Capacity to collaborate with AI as a true productivity ally, rather than merely an autocomplete tool.
• Create the automated ticket generation workflow that transforms product and operational insights into sprint-ready tickets with minimal human involvement.
• Oversee the non-engineer contribution program: formalizing and scaling the process that permits Product Managers, Customer Success engineers, and other technical contributors to safely commit code.
• Establish engineering standards, guidelines, and best practices for AI-assisted development throughout the organization.
• Develop the developer tooling infrastructure that minimizes friction in the everyday engineering experience from local development to deployment.
• Assess the impact of every Enablement investment in terms of velocity and quality and continuously iterate based on data insights.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with a robust background in developer tooling, platform engineering, or internal infrastructure.
• Proven experience in creating AI-assisted engineering workflows, including prompt engineering, LLM integration, and evaluation frameworks for AI-generated outputs.
• Experience in developing and managing automation pipelines that minimize manual work on a large scale.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and the specific friction points that hinder engineering teams.
• Experience in a technical leadership or staff-level engineering position with cross-team influence.
• Familiarity with contemporary AI developer tools such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and similar platforms.
• Experience in establishing low-risk code contribution workflows for non-engineers is highly advantageous.
• Strong data and measurement focus: capable of defining success metrics and tracking them rigorously.
