Engineering Manager, Data Sync

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead and guide a team of 8–12 engineers specializing in data synchronization, query engine, and performance of embedded databases.

• Take ownership of delivery across all three workstreams and decompose large technical initiatives into manageable milestones.

• Develop and sustain a robust hiring pipeline in a competitive landscape.

• Collaborate effectively with product managers and stakeholders to define the team’s roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing software engineering teams.

• At least 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role within database, storage, or data infrastructure engineering.

• A proven history of delivering infrastructure or database products consistently and predictably.

• Knowledge of consistency models, conflict resolution, replication topologies, and convergence.

• Proven capability to recruit top talent and develop high-performing teams.
