Engineering Manager, Data Processing

• Spearhead the design, development, and scaling of advanced data pipelines for both analytical and operational applications.

• Oversee and manage service level agreements (SLAs) for streaming systems to ensure quality, reliability, and readiness for incident response.

• Collaborate with technical and business teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

• Continuously enhance the internal developer experience through improved tooling, automation, and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in engineering or backend development roles involving the creation of large-scale, maintainable data streaming systems.

• Several years of experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams within the streaming domain.

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with strategies pertaining to streaming architecture, including both batch and real-time processing frameworks (e.g., Paimon, Kafka, Spark, Flink).

• Proven experience with cloud-native solutions (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, Objective-C, C++, etc.
