• Technical Strategy: Taking charge of technical decisions and ensuring they align with the company's strategic objectives.
• Planning & Delivery: Collaborating with Product Managers to establish OKRs and co-leading the planning process for both annual and quarterly goals.
• Operational Oversight: Conducting metrics reviews and guaranteeing on-call coverage across the organization.
• Risk Management: Proactively identifying risks and obstacles and collaborating with stakeholders to address them.
• People Development: Overseeing the onboarding, training, and coaching of team members, while also participating in performance assessments and promotion evaluations.
• Performance Tracking: Evaluating team performance and reporting progress against KPIs and significant milestones.
• Financial Diligence: Ensuring that team expenditures (both OpEx and CapEx) remain within budgetary constraints.
• Experience managing a team of engineers in a professional setting.
• Practical knowledge of gRPC, GraphQL, Postgres, and Kafka; experience with Go is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficient in React, TypeScript, and React Native.
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, along with cloud workflows.
• A solid understanding of engineering practices and the capability to foster operational excellence.
• Experience in establishing practices for security and SLOs.
