• Take ownership of the weekly cadence for Channels and Analytics.
• Collaborate with PMs and engineering leadership to identify and prioritize tasks, including those that may not yet be documented.
• Assist in organizing backlogs and instilling structure within teams that operate in a dynamic, low-process environment.
• Proactively eliminate obstacles for engineers, identifying constraints before they escalate into issues.
• Create and sustain technical debt plans in partnership with engineers rather than doing it on their behalf.
• Serve as a secondary strategist for integration approaches and capacity planning.
• Enhance processes that hinder the efficiency of skilled engineers.
• Conduct 1:1 meetings that provide engineers with clarity in their thinking, not just a record of status updates. Deliver constructive feedback directly, ensuring it is impactful without being damaging. Support the development of senior engineers who aspire to grow, including coaching those with ambitions toward management.
• Function as a secondary hiring collaborator: assist with interview loops, uphold recruitment standards, and partner with the recruiting team.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience managing engineers in a product delivery context — you have driven outcomes beyond mere personnel management.
• Located in a European timezone (UTC to UTC+3) — this position is designed to provide support to engineers that our Engineering Manager cannot reach from their timezone.
• Experience in startup or scale-up environments: you understand the dynamics of operating without established processes or safety nets.
• Technical credibility — while you may not be the top engineer in the room, your expertise is sufficient for senior engineers to direct complex issues to you rather than circumventing you.
• Authentic fluency in AI/LLM: you grasp agentic systems, evaluations, and model reliability — not merely the notion that "AI is transforming everything."
• Background in security, compliance, or SOC-related work.
• Experience in a product-oriented company without the support of a dedicated TPM or staff engineer.
• Proven ability to manage senior engineers who require less traditional oversight — they need a collaborative thought partner rather than a process overseer.
• Competitive salary along with the potential for equity or stock options.
• Learning budget. As you grow, so do we.
• Significant impact. Your contributions directly influence our product and organization.
• The excitement of creating something innovative. Join us at a pivotal stage where your input is invaluable.
