• In the role of Engineering Manager for Card Market Expansion, you will spearhead the engineering initiatives necessary to launch and maintain Reap's card programs across new markets in North America, EMEA, and LATAM.
• You will take ownership of the complete engineering delivery for market entry, which includes local regulatory integration and processor configuration, as well as coordinating cross-team dependencies (Treasury, Onboarding, Compliance, Infrastructure, and Data Warehouse), and ensuring stable operations post-launch.
• This position is a high-ownership, hands-on leadership role that operates at the intersection of product delivery, compliance needs, and cross-functional engineering.
• You will shape the engineering strategy, engage in technical design discussions, and play a key role in determining how Reap expands its card issuing infrastructure across various regulatory environments.
• Oversee the engineering workstream for card program compliance in NA, EMEA, and LATAM markets, including adherence to local Visa/Mastercard network regulations, BIN sponsor responsibilities, open banking standards, and regional regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with local vendors, issuer processors, and BIN sponsor systems to fulfill market-specific technical requirements.
• Lead the sequenced delivery across all dependent teams: Card Platform, Treasury/Ledger, Onboarding/KYC-KYB, Regulatory Reporting, Chargeback/Disputes, Infrastructure, Data Warehouse, and Security Governance.

• Maintain high standards for code quality, reliability, and peer review, and appreciate collaborating with others who share this commitment.
• Possess clear communication skills, respectfully challenge ideas, and contribute to elevating the overall quality of the team.
• Our primary technology stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, and AWS; however, we prioritize solid engineering fundamentals over any particular toolkit.
• Flexible hybrid work environment within a global, collaborative team.
• Insurance coverage following the probation period.
• Reap Card stipend.
• Access to AI tools at work, along with opportunities to learn, experiment, and develop skills.
• A culture fostering innovation, inclusion, and ongoing learning.
