Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product and design teams to uncover opportunities and guide an engineering team in achieving results.

• Champion technical excellence by translating business requirements into code, utilizing best practices in cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and security.

• Manage team capacity effectively between strategic enhancements and necessary maintenance tasks.

• Cultivate a culture of technical excellence through mentorship and coaching initiatives.

• Develop sustainable processes for collaboration and knowledge-sharing across teams.

• Oversee and regularly update long-term capacity planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in software engineering and engineering management at scale.

• Strong technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, DevOps methodologies, and distributed systems.

• Proficient in AWS services, infrastructure as code, and container orchestration platforms.

• Proven history of successful cross-functional collaboration and effective stakeholder management.

• Experience in capacity planning and resource allocation across various work streams.

• Comprehensive understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.

• Previous experience in fintech or financial services is advantageous.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
