Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

• Lead a team of engineers by offering guidance, support, and opportunities for professional development.

• Set and maintain high standards for coding and performance, promoting best practices throughout the team.

• Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to develop technical solutions that align with business objectives.

• Execute efficient development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable methodologies to enhance productivity and quality.

• Address technical and operational challenges promptly, ensuring minimal interruption to product delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.

• Remain technically proficient and capable of coding in Java or one of the frontend technologies.

• Demonstrated success in leading teams that design and implement large-scale, distributed systems.

• Strong background in backend or frontend technologies such as Java, Postgres, Kafka, and Redis, or React, Angular, and Svelte.

• Hands-on experience with AWS is a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to various stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.

• Capability to establish and meet strategic objectives while quickly adapting to changing priorities.

• Proficiency in English at a C1 level or equivalent.
