This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.
• Facilitate the cadences, including planning sessions, standups, and retrospectives. Keep them light, functional, and engaging.
• Monitor all aspects. Stay informed about the status of every ongoing project and identify risks before they escalate into major issues.
• Take ownership of delivery metrics. Focus on cycle time, review latency, and reliability, utilizing these metrics constructively rather than punitively.
• Manage incidents effectively. Be the primary escalation point when issues arise, coordinate the response, and conduct a blameless root cause analysis that leads to meaningful improvements.
• Foster team growth through one-on-one meetings, coaching, and maintaining a rigorous hiring pipeline (including job descriptions, scorecards, and screening processes).
• You are responsible for outcomes. Prioritize delivery over code volume, ensuring timely and high-quality shipments.
• You have successfully implemented delivery enhancements, with measurable before-and-after results.
• Possess sufficient technical knowledge to gain respect from engineers. They trust your judgment because you comprehend the work involved.
• Approach data with empathy. Use metrics to assist individuals rather than to rank them.
• Maintain composure during incidents. You act as a coordinator rather than a panic-driven participant.
• Excellent writing skills. Your decision-making is clearly articulated in written form, eliminating the need for additional meetings.
• Self-motivated. You proactively identify and address any potential delays.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Provide a written example showcasing how you managed a delivery process or alleviated a team’s challenges: such as a real retrospective, an incident root cause analysis, or a designed and deployed process.
• Experience managing a small, high-performing engineering team.
• Background in incident command.
• Proven track record of high-quality hiring practices.
• Fully remote work. Enjoy the flexibility to work from anywhere.
• Equity participation. Gain ownership in what you are building.
• Profit-sharing opportunities. Share in the success when we thrive.
• Learn directly from the founder. Gain insights into the growth of a genuine SaaS business.
• Annual team retreats (the last one was in Spain).
