Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead Global Engineering Delivery by coordinating efforts across a distributed team.

• Manage Planned vs. Reactive Work by implementing effective frameworks.

• Take charge of Incident Management & On-Call responsibilities.

• Design Asynchronous Workflows to reduce the necessity for real-time meetings.

• Oversee Delivery Metrics (DORA).

• Advocate for AI-Augmented Engineering by enhancing the team's utilization of AI tools.

• Manage Global People and ensure Team Health.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in directly managing a team of approximately 10 software engineers.

• Active engagement with contemporary AI development tools.

• Demonstrated experience in creating triage systems for on-the-spot bugs.

• Outstanding written communication abilities.

• Practical knowledge of DORA metrics or similar frameworks.

• Capacity to foster psychological safety and mitigate burnout.

• Solid engineering background.

• Proficiency in navigating code reviews.

• Domain Expertise in Supply Chain, Logistics, or E-commerce sectors (preferred).
