This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Serve as the main technical-commercial liaison throughout the sales journey.
• Interact with clients to comprehend operational challenges and pinpoint appropriate technical solutions.
• Convert customer needs into technically sound and commercially feasible proposals.
• Work alongside engineering teams to establish system configurations, scope of supply, and technical solutions.
• Assist in customer meetings, technical workshops, site visits, and product demonstrations.
• Create technical and commercial proposals, tender submissions, and accompanying documentation.
• Handle technical inquiries during the bidding and due diligence phases.
• Develop persuasive business cases centered on decarbonization, energy efficiency, and total cost of ownership.
• Aid in contract negotiations in collaboration with commercial and legal teams.
• Represent the organization at industry conferences, exhibitions, and customer events.
• Proven experience in Technical Sales, Commercial Engineering, Applications Engineering, Proposal Management, or Business Development roles.
• Experience in supporting the sale or implementation of intricate industrial, process plant, energy, or infrastructure projects.
• Skilled in developing technical proposals, tenders, FEED studies, or bid submissions.
• Direct experience working with customers to create technical solutions and business cases.
• Educational background in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical fields.
• Proficient in constructing business cases and conveying technical concepts to both technical and commercial audiences.
• Capable of managing various stakeholders across engineering, commercial, and project delivery functions.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the UK and Europe.
