This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Take ownership of the daily operations of your team, ensuring consistent, high-quality results that align with product and business objectives.
• Facilitate delivery rituals such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives; continually enhance your team's workflows.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to refine backlogs, clarify requirements, and synchronize priorities and timelines.
• Work alongside Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and Principal Engineers to ensure coherence on technical direction and delivery strategies.
• Uphold operational excellence, including system reliability, incident management, and support processes.
• Mentor and develop your team through regular one-on-one meetings, constructive feedback, and growth dialogues.
• Cultivate an inclusive and supportive team atmosphere where individuals feel secure to contribute and develop.
• Assist in managing performance, engagement, and well-being within the team, ensuring seamless operations during the maternity cover period.
• Provide stakeholders with visibility into delivery progress, risks, and performance metrics.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding as necessary, reinforcing the team’s stability and continuity.
• You possess experience in leading engineering teams within a product-focused, SaaS environment.
• You have a background in software engineering and are adept at engaging in technical discussions with your team.
• You have managed delivery outcomes from start to finish, balancing quality, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
• You are a people-oriented leader who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and supporting others in their growth.
• You communicate effectively and confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• You are comfortable collaborating across teams and time zones, fostering strong relationships with Product and Engineering colleagues.
• You excel in dynamic environments where priorities shift, and you can provide clarity and structure when necessary.
• You approach leadership with empathy, curiosity, and a dedication to continuous improvement.
