Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You lead an engineering team both technically and organizationally, ensuring clear priorities, responsibilities, and execution.

• Remain hands-on: architectural decisions, code reviews, technical concepts, and your own implementations are part of your daily routine.

• Translate business requirements into realistic technical plans, making progress, risks, and dependencies transparent.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Business, and company leadership, representing engineering in key discussions.

• Conduct regular one-on-ones, provide constructive feedback, and support developers in their professional and personal growth.

• Bring structure to development processes, release workflows, team rituals, and incident handling without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in professional software development.

• Previously led or technically guided developers.

• Solid understanding of modern backend architectures, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and production-ready software development.

• Experience with Python or similar backend technologies is a plus.

• Familiarity with AI-related products, automation, data-driven workflows, or modern AI integrations is advantageous.

• Fluent German and English are required.
