This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Recruit, manage, inspire, and coach engineering professionals from various disciplines (QA, automation, Dev, DevOps), across different seniority levels and remote locations.
• Oversee the delivery of applications that your team is responsible for, prioritizing tasks and serving as a point of contact for the team when necessary.
• Apply Agile methodology (Scrum) to effectively manage and deliver projects, ensuring compliance with company SDLC standards.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Architects to synchronize strategy, priorities, and execution of delivery for the applications under your purview.
• Work alongside the Technology Operations team to define the deployment and operational processes of the applications you manage.
• Offer guidance and review solution designs, estimations, technical sequencing, and code quality to ensure alignment with standards, timelines, and business objectives.
• Coordinate with Sales, Services, Support teams, and Customers to address matters related to the applications you oversee.
• Provide high-level effort estimates for planning and prioritization, based on feedback from engineering teams.
• Cultivate a results-oriented culture that promotes innovation, accountability, teamwork, and empathy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and company goals.
• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• 6–8 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Prior experience as an Engineering Manager, Architect, Tech Lead, or in other technical leadership roles within the Engineering domain.
• Proficient in at least one SDLC role – QA, Software Engineering, Test Automation, or DevOps, with a good understanding of all other roles.
• Strong expertise in managing non-functional aspects of enterprise-grade applications, including performance, security, and reliability.
• Experience in Legal, Finance, or mission-critical products, either as a manager or an individual contributor.
• Familiarity with cloud-native applications, as a manager or individual contributor.
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft technology engineering stack (.NET, Azure, Azure DevOps).
• Willingness to acquire domain knowledge to effectively leverage technical skills.
• Outstanding leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong delivery and coaching capabilities.
• Ability to travel up to 10% as required by business needs.
• Role requires the following physical capacity: Sedentary, primarily desk/computer work.
