Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Drive the successful execution of your team's initiatives while ensuring the delivery of high-quality software that aligns with both technical standards and customer expectations.

• Offer technical expertise and guidance, addressing complex issues and influencing architectural decisions.

• Advocate for agile methodologies and engineering best practices to maintain operational excellence.

• Work collaboratively with the Product Manager and stakeholders to align team deliverables with strategic business objectives, maximizing customer value and anticipating market trends.

• Ensure clear and effective communication with peers, leadership, and stakeholders to promote alignment and transparency.

• Actively participate in the recruitment, retention, and professional development of team members through constructive feedback and development plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• Recent experience in a role as an Engineering Manager.

• Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide team members, effectively managing team dynamics and fostering a cohesive team environment.

• Solid software development skills in any leading technology, with a preference for Python.

• Understanding of software architecture and systems design, with the capability to contribute to architectural decisions and practical experience in microservice architecture.

• Proficient in agile and lean practices, including Scrum, Kanban, or other agile frameworks, and able to integrate these methodologies with project management tools to enhance team performance.

• Ability to analyze metrics and leverage data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize processes.

• Experience adopting a DevOps mindset, with a solid understanding of best practices such as TDD, CI/CD, and Observability.
