Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of software and QA engineers (currently 8), promoting a culture centered on continuous improvement and technical excellence.

• Assess team performance and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and career development through regular one-on-one meetings.

• Implement efficient processes and standards to drive team success and uphold high engineering quality.

• Engage in resource planning and hiring initiatives to expand the engineering team as needed.

• Cultivate an inclusive, collaborative, and positive team environment.

• Utilize test-driven development to create backend systems and user interfaces that simplify development and integration between them.

• Assist in the creation of APIs, specifications, and data models to facilitate integration with frontend applications and third-party systems.

• Design, implement, and maintain data interactions while optimizing data operations for performance and scalability, ensuring data integrity and security.

• Create and develop user interfaces based on UX designs that align with customer requirements.

• Understand and contribute to the development of both functional and non-functional automated testing suites.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of relevant work experience.

• Technologies utilized include, but are not limited to:

• Java (SpringBoot)

• Angular

• Typescript

• Javascript

• Preferred qualifications include:

• Knowledge and experience with AWS

• Experience with large-scale systems accommodating over 100 users

• Familiarity with FHIR

• Experience in AI/ML
