📋 Description

• The Design Services intern will assist Interstates with a range of tasks and projects, acquiring practical experience in industrial electrical design and construction.

• Equipment Lists – Gather data and assess received information that outlines the project scope.

• Design – Document design choices in software such as InterTrak to aid in creating design drawings and equipment specifications.

• Drawings – Employ 2D and 3D drafting software to produce electrical drawings that convey project scope to contractors or fabricators.

• Professional Communication – Use various software tools to ensure clear communication with team members and clients regarding project updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0-4 years of experience or education in electrical fields, actively pursuing an engineering degree. Candidates working towards a drafting degree from a technical college will also be considered.

• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and listening) and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Familiarity with or a keen interest in manufacturing, industrial, and electrical systems.

• Capability to collaborate with superintendents, engineers, estimators, and customers.
