This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive the growth and profitability of security revenue by overseeing an Area team of Cyber Security Consultants, collaborating with National field sales personnel, engineering leaders, and National Practice heads, while enhancing partner interactions and advocating for Presidio's managed and cyber security services.
• Offer regular coaching to the team and ensure that individual development plans include actionable and measurable goals.
• Set a strong example and maintain an unwavering commitment to stakeholder success.
• Identify new solutions, emerging products, and industry trends that could provide a competitive edge, collaborating with the team for evaluation and integration into Presidio’s offerings.
• Enhance the Area team’s cybersecurity knowledge and skills through relevant conferences, both internal and external training, industry certifications, and mentorship.
• Ensure adherence to Presidio’s Strategic Engagement Framework.
• Uphold a high standard of technical excellence and advocacy across multiple solution architecture domains, including both primary and enabling solutions offered and delivered by Presidio.
• Partner with Executive Leadership to identify the needs of practice areas and serve as a key communication channel to/from the territories.
• Work alongside Professional Services leadership to guarantee the quality of Statements of Work (SOW) and maintain open lines of communication.
• Comprehend our customers' overall business motivations and influences, positioning Presidio for successful sales and implementation of our service and product offerings.
• Cultivate and sustain long-term client relationships, while also identifying and converting competitively held accounts.
• Build trust and strengthen relationships with manufacturer partner teams.
• Collaborate with Territory Sales & Engineering Directors to formulate and implement strategic and go-to-market plans.
• Coordinate with the Marketing team to create relevant and impactful customer events.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, including military experience in IT and/or Security.
• 5-8 years of experience in security or risk management, auditing, and business continuity planning in a client-facing consulting capacity.
• Strong connections with industry peers and security vendors.
• In-depth knowledge of system and solution architectures and compliance frameworks, including PCI-DSS, HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley, ISO 27001, NIST, CSF, COBIT, SANS 20, and privacy/security-related laws.
• Relevant risk and/or security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, CHP, PCI-QSA.
• Experience and/or professional-level certification(s) in one or more of Presidio’s offerings.
• Proven ability in technical problem-solving and design.
• Capability to clearly and effectively communicate security-related concepts in both written and oral forms to technical and executive leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, mentoring, measuring, and growing teams.
• Exceptional customer relationship management skills.
• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Proficient in oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and lead by example.
