Lead Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee, guide, and manage various engineering teams while nurturing a culture of accountability, teamwork, and ongoing enhancement.

• Cultivate and develop engineering talent through mentoring, performance assessments, career development, and succession planning.

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of intricate software projects across multiple teams.

• Work in partnership with product managers and business stakeholders to establish technical roadmaps and prioritize engineering initiatives.

• Set engineering best practices, coding standards, architectural guidelines, and development methodologies.

• Ensure high standards of software quality through effective development practices, testing strategies, and code review processes.

• Recognize technical risks, eliminate delivery bottlenecks, and make well-informed decisions to guarantee successful project outcomes.

• Advocate for operational excellence by enhancing system reliability, scalability, security, and performance.

• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to shape long-term engineering strategies and organizational objectives.

• Foster innovation by assessing new technologies, frameworks, and development methodologies.

• Promote Agile development practices and continuously enhance engineering workflows and team efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as an Engineering Manager leading large software engineering teams.

• 11–22 years of comprehensive software development and engineering leadership experience.

• Strong background in managing cross-functional engineering teams across diverse projects.

• Proven success in recruiting, mentoring, and retaining top-performing engineering talent.

• Excellent grasp of software architecture, scalable system design, and contemporary development techniques.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management and the capacity to align engineering priorities with business objectives.

• Experience in overseeing Agile development processes, sprint planning, release management, and project implementation.

• Outstanding leadership, communication, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on execution excellence.

• Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with React Native applications or leading mobile engineering teams in developing cross-platform solutions.

• Familiarity with mobile application architecture, performance optimization, and modern frontend development techniques.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and monitoring tools.

• Experience working with distributed teams across various geographical locations.
