Engineering Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Create Property Condition Assessment Reports and Construction Monitoring Reports.

• Carry out walk-through inspections of buildings to evaluate the condition of major systems.

• Conduct interviews with property owners, occupants, key site personnel, and local government representatives.

• Capture document photographs of representative building systems, existing conditions, and physical deficiencies.

• Review as-built plans and construction drawings.

• Generate cost estimates for building systems that require repair or replacement.

• Perform Construction Monitoring and evaluate payment applications for lenders, investors, and equity clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in building evaluation or commercial design.

• Familiarity with performing PCAs in accordance with ASTM 2018-24, Freddie Mac, and/or Fannie Mae Guidelines.

• Proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook.

• Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and capable of multitasking.
