Engineering Coach, Health Tech Researchers – Director/VP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Delivering one-on-one coaching to Mento members through virtual sessions utilizing the Mento Platform and Tools.

• Engaging in continuous training sessions to enhance coaching skills and abilities.

• Interacting with members via your Mento email or through chat in the Mento App between sessions.

• Being an essential part of the Mento coaching community by sharing coaching tools and insights, thereby contributing to the improvement of our coaching practices and advancing our mission of empowering individuals to excel in careers they love.

• Acting as a representative of the Mento community with kindness, respect, and empathy.

⛳️ Requirements

• A director, vice president, or other engineering leader with over 15 years of experience managing technical research teams in AI/ML organizations, healthtech, space tech, or related sectors.

• A proficient technical researcher or engineering manager with knowledge in both theoretical and applied AI/ML, large-scale modeling, computer science, or mathematical sciences.

• A research leader with publications, patents, leadership experience in top research organizations, and/or a PhD is preferred.

• An individual eager to translate their leadership skills into impactful coaching abilities.

• A passion for assisting individuals in advancing their careers to lead fulfilling lives.

• A self-aware individual with high emotional intelligence, dedicated to creating a safe environment for others to express vulnerability.

• Enthusiastic about developing coaching skills and embracing a growth mindset, regardless of coaching experience.

• Comfortable operating in a dynamic startup atmosphere.

• Committed to dedicating a minimum of 12+ hours per month to coaching at Mento for the next 24+ months.

• This is a contract role where coaches are compensated on an hourly basis. In addition to a standard hourly rate, we offer selected bonuses that encourage engagement with our members and support community growth on our platform.

• You must be able to allocate a minimum of three to five hours per week to Mento, regardless of other commitments and their potential changes.

• You are required to work with Mento for at least 24 months to foster meaningful relationships with our members.

• This role is fully remote. Candidates must reside in North America or Europe.
