This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Calculate energy savings for projects focused on energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to review projects submitted to local energy efficiency lighting programs.
• Assist in the development of best practices in engineering across the company.
• Contribute to the creation of engineering tools utilizing MS Excel and other software applications.
• Draft reports, which include measurement verification plans and billing analysis findings.
• Update and maintain databases and calculators.
• Ensure that ongoing energy efficiency projects comply with federal and state energy regulations.
• Must reside in Ontario.
• Currently enrolled in and have completed 2 or more years of post-secondary education in Engineering.
• Preference for candidates in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or Energy engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
• Available to work 40 hours per week from September 8th, 2026, to December 23rd, 2026.
• Demonstrated interest and drive to pursue a career in the dynamic energy efficiency sector.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, with strong capabilities in detailed calculations.
• Excellent math and analytical skills are essential.
• Must possess authorization to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsorship or immigration assistance.
• Candidates must successfully pass pre-employment screening.
• Approximately 40 hours of work per week.
• Possible consideration for a full-time engineering role after the completion of the co-op, depending on performance and available openings.
