
Engineer Surveyor – Pressure Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Perform hands-on inspections of machinery and equipment at factories, warehouses, and various commercial facilities.
• Collaborate closely with the Engineer Surveyor Team under the supervision of a Senior Operations Team Leader.
• Create electronic reports of examinations following each inspection.
• Evaluate installations, foresee potential issues, and assist clients in adhering to applicable legislation.
• Inspect pressure vessels, boilers, and other equipment.
• Provide support and stand in for fellow Engineer Surveyors within the same discipline when necessary.
• Coordinate meetings, site visits, and task assignments.
• Handle documentation and perform general administrative tasks.
• Current knowledge and understanding of compliance and regulatory standards related to the Pressure Mechanical discipline.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering field, preferably Mechanical Engineering, or actively pursuing an equivalent qualification.
• Experience working with steam generation, compressed air, and related systems.
• Ideally, experience in manufacturing (QA and production), maintenance and operations, repairs, and site inspections.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Effective time management skills with the ability to independently organize weekly tasks.
• Proficient in using tablets and smartphones as part of daily work activities.
• Willingness to make informed decisions and assume responsibility.
• Capability to plan work for the short, medium, and long term.
• Ability to travel effectively within the designated local work area.
• Timely processing of documentation and execution of general administrative duties.
• Incorporated Engineer status is preferred.
• Familiarity with Responsible AI principles is a plus.
