
Engineer Surveyor – Power Press, Hazardous Machinery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of mechanical equipment, such as presses, guillotines, and injection moulding machinery.
• Participate in a non-destructive training program.
• Maintain and enhance professional proficiency.
• Perform crack detection on press components.
• Manage documentation and handle general administrative tasks promptly.
• Organize and schedule meetings, site visits, and work assignments.
• Travel to client locations within the designated local work area.
• Provide assistance and cover for fellow Engineer Surveyors as needed.
• Deliver customer support and engage with clients both verbally and in writing.
• Qualified and experienced Engineer Surveyor.
• Current knowledge and understanding of compliance and regulatory standards relating to Power Presses.
• Background in the manufacturing, repair, or maintenance of Power Presses, Brake Presses, Injection Moulding Machines, woodworking equipment, and relevant safety guards and devices.
• Familiarity with electrical control systems and relevant documentation is a plus.
• Excellent customer interaction abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and embrace new challenges.
• Capacity to make informed decisions and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Proficient in short-, medium-, and long-term planning.
• Ability to travel efficiently within the assigned local work area.
• Competence in managing documentation and general administrative duties.
• Willingness to assist and cover for fellow Engineer Surveyors.
• Strong customer support capabilities, both in-person and in writing.
• Knowledge of responsible Artificial Intelligence usage is preferred.
