This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Execute on-site installations, maintenance, repairs, qualifications, and validations of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometric systems.
• Expertly utilize customer management software to manage service calls, oversee parts inventories, and fulfill job tasks.
• Assess examination and assessment results to determine the root cause of issues, proposing fixes, substitutions, or alternative solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, customer service, and other teams to facilitate prompt problem resolution.
• Review Chemistry reports related to technical issues to recommend changes that prevent future occurrences.
• Act as a communication bridge between the customer and the company to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Create and lead training sessions on the safe operation of equipment and demonstrate skills to trainees.
• A Bachelor's Degree in chemistry or a related discipline is mandatory.
• Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Service Engineer, particularly with analytical instrumentation, or over 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Familiarity with Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry instrumentation is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to cultivate positive relationships with customers are essential.
• Capability to prioritize service requests while producing clear and succinct documentation.
• A clean driving record is required.
