Engineer III – Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop the systems necessary for Falcon researchers, threat researchers, and various teams within the Research & Development and Data Science departments.

• Create highly scalable solutions leveraging cloud technology, frequently by integrating new microservices.

• Engage in code reviews, participate in design discussions, and assist team members in achieving success.

• Acquire technical expertise and enhance existing systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software development within a cloud developer role, or a comparable position.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Proficiency in one or more high-level programming languages (such as Python, Go, Rust, etc.) is preferred.

• Experience in automating workflows through the use and design of JSON APIs.

• Familiarity with pub-sub and message queue systems, S3, SQS, Redis, etc.

• Experience working with relational and non-relational/NoSQL database technologies like MySQL, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, etc.

• Understanding of AI-assisted development tools and code generation practices to boost productivity (Bonus).

• Experience in user interface design and UI technologies (such as AngularJS, ReactJS) will be considered an advantage (Bonus).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge in the security domain, along with effective problem-solving and system design abilities.
